Karthik Krishna Jayaram is an award-winning vocalist trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music under renowned maestros including Kalaimamani P. Unnikrishnan and Pt. Ramesh Narayan. A T-Series Singing Superstar 2023 winner and All India Radio Graded Artist, he sings in over 15 languages and has an extensive repertoire across Indian music.
Karthik Krishna Jayaram is an accomplished vocalist with a strong foundation in both Carnatic and Hindustani music. He has trained in Carnatic music under Kalaimamani P. Unnikrishnan and in Hindustani music under Pt. Ramesh Narayan, along with guidance from the late Sri. Vaiyangara Madhusoodanan and Sri. Tapan Baidya.
A versatile performer, Karthik is comfortable singing in more than 15 languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati. He is also a Graded Artist of All India Radio, Thiruvananthapuram, in Light Music and Carnatic Devotional Music. He has earned recognition at both national and international levels. He was the winner of the Swarnim Dharohar Lata Puraskar 2025, a national-level singing competition held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, exclusively celebrating the songs of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. He was also the winner of T-Series' Singing Superstar Worldwide Singing Competition in 2023.
His musical journey includes recordings for leading Indian music platforms and labels, including Zee Devotional and T-Series, as well as several Malayalam album songs and short films. He is also part of two upcoming Malayalam film projects. Karthik is currently working on a Bollywood album alongside renowned names including Uttam Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh and Udit Narayan, scheduled for release in 2027.
His other honours include the Smule India Award 2021 and the FOMAA Best Vocalist – North America Award 2022. Alongside his musical career, Karthik has an impressive academic and professional background. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Calicut (2012–2016) and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, USA (2018–2019). He also has around eight years of professional experience in engineering.
With his blend of classical training, versatility across languages and genres, extensive performance experience and exposure to the Indian music industry, Karthik brings a distinctive and enriching perspective to music education.
