A very talented and experienced singer for decades, Shri. Chandrasekharan has worked with film music composers like Devarajan master, Arjunan master, Johnson, Ilayaraja etc. He has sung for many films both in Malayalam and Tamil. He was the winner of the Interzone Kalotsavam from the University of Calicut during the year 1979
He is a B high grade artist in Carnatic vocal and light music of All India Radio/Doordarsan. He has been training for both students and interested adults in carnatic vocal, light music, ghazals etc for about past 25 years. He is a great performer who has done many stage shows (film songs and ghazals) apart from performing carnatic concerts.
He was part of the judging panel (light and carnatic music) in state/district annual school festivals.
